I enrolled in community college and triple-majored in business, marketing, and entrepreneurship. That rush I felt on stage? I felt it every time I learned something new about sales and persuasion. I was obsessed. I spent every minute outside of class delivering pizzas to pay my bills. But instead of blasting music in my car, I turned it into a rolling library—burning through every audiobook on business, marketing, and psychology I could get my hands on.

Eventually, I got impatient. I needed real experience. So one day, instead of bribing cops with a mistake pizza (long story), I drove it to a local marketing agency instead. Walked right in, dressed as a pizza guy, and told the receptionist I had a pizza for the CEO. She let me through.

I set the pizza down on his desk and said:

“Sir, I didn’t come here to deliver this pizza. I came here to ask for a job. I don’t care if you have open positions—I’ll bring you coffee, I’ll sweep the floors, whatever it takes. I just need to learn. And if you don’t take me, someone else will. Your call.”

The man looked at me for a long second, then said: “You’re hired.”

That’s how I got my first real marketing job.

Fast forward a few years—I packed my bags and moved across the country to Las Vegas for my first role in tech. Within a year, I was running the entire customer care department. The customers loved me. One of them loved me so much, he poached me to be his digital marketing specialist.

Why? Because while other people in Vegas were out partying, I was at home teaching myself how to build websites.

I spent the next few years sharpening my skills, turning books into courses for a top sales trainer. We made half a million dollars selling online courses. I met and married my (very hot) wife. Life was good.

Then, COVID hit.

I lost my job overnight. Not because I sucked—but because the world shut down. I had no control over it.

The silver lining? That’s when I got hired at the company that had been hosting our courses. And that? That was the best job I ever had. For three years, I ran live webinars almost every day—teaching business owners how to market, how to use AI, and how to sell their products online. I co-hosted webinars with people who had made millions. I learned everything about engagement, confidence, sales psychology—everything you need to crush it in a live setting.

And now, I’m here.
